Description

Crispy, seasoned chicken drumsticks made in the air fryer for a juicy, hands-off dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken legs (drumsticks)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: your favorite seasoning blend (Cajun, lemon pepper, BBQ rub, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
  2. Season the chicken: Pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels, then coat with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange the chicken legs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Cook for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Check doneness with a thermometer; target 165°F (74°C) internally.
  6. Rest the chicken for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry for extra crispiness. Avoid overcrowding the basket.
