Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • Sour cream or avocado (optional, for serving)


Instructions

  1. Combine the shrimp with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss to coat.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the seasoned shrimp to the hot skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
  4. Mix the shredded cabbage with lime juice and a pinch of salt in another bowl to create your lime slaw.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a pan or microwave until pliable.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp in each tortilla, topping with lime slaw, and adding cilantro and other optional toppings as desired.
