Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
- Sour cream or avocado (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Combine the shrimp with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss to coat.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the seasoned shrimp to the hot skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
- Mix the shredded cabbage with lime juice and a pinch of salt in another bowl to create your lime slaw.
- Warm the tortillas in a pan or microwave until pliable.
- Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp in each tortilla, topping with lime slaw, and adding cilantro and other optional toppings as desired.
- Serve immediately while warm and fresh!
